In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.
The questline focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Features
