The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
